Born and raised in Brockton Massachusetts Lorne Beane also known as Concept or C-O was subject to poverty at an early age. A product of a broken home Concept is no stranger to "the Struggle". From an early age government assistance frequently kept food on the table and clothes on his back. At the age of twelve he was able to express his feelings through poetry. This was an escape from the every day problems. In his early to mid teen years he was faced with the temptations of "the street life." He began hanging with the wrong crowds and getting into trouble.
In 2003 Concept was given the opportunity to work with an up and coming producer, Jarred Hancock of sure fire music group. He jumped at the opportunity, After recording only one song he was hooked. It was the happiest he had been in a long time. Getting into that booth and getting anger off his chest and actually doing something positive felt good.
Now a father of two Concept is launching into the New England hip hop scene. You will not find any of the over exaggerated gangster rap or the finger snapping. What you will find is something that you can relate to. With 2011 coming Concept see's a light a the end of the tunnel and starts putting together albums. While writing and producing his own songs comes Concepts - Cause I can album with features from J-Rod, Mykel & DJ Motion. Also coming soon is a free mixtape series called Bring It Back featuring Concept & DJ Motion.

DEFINITELY the real deal. Your music is tight. Keep at it the only thing in my car is the CD cause I can. I can't wait for the second album
