Cyclone, Boston born artist Dorchester native. Has been putting in the ground work for the past 6yrs and counting. Setting up his own label "Top Gunnaz Inc." Which he is co-founder and President/CEO. His passion for music goes back to when he was a kid like every other Artist might feel. But running the streets at an early age, involved with drugs, guns, losing friends, jail and barely graduating high school. In early 2002 his grandmother passed away. On her death bed he had talks with her wishing he would do something more positive with out being another statistic. So that year Cyclone finally started to map out a plan to put his goals into play, to say the least. Being a humble person from the start opened up a lot of doors for Cyclone. Including opening up for artists such as Lil Flip, Carl Thomas, 112,to the Young Gunz to name a few from 2003-2005. Appearing on countless dvd's and other artists mixtapes. Cyclone figured Boston was missing a lot of unity so he came up with a plan to showcase Boston talent by interviewing some of Boston's talent in their studios, to shows, to freestyles, to asking questions about how they feel about music and game at that point in time. And chopping it up and putting out a CD/DVD called "The Movement Begins" series. CD was to really display the artist talent and DVD was for the visual of that artist and show his or her grind as well. Which he decided to be just a give back to his city for FREE!! So when Cyclone or other artists go out of town they see how we grind and not just listen to a CD you can also get the visual, which is very important in this business. Boston Artists only from BR, JAKE THE SNAKE, SLAINE, LOUIE BELLO, WALLY SPARKS, CYCLONE & much more, too many to name. Cyclone is working on Vol 4 for a November 2010 release. Cyclone has also released several mixtapes, mixtape albums, as well as his dvd series. His last mixtape in 2009 was "The Best of Cyclone" Hosted By J the S. Catches people up on his best work , also other tracks he was featured on. Moving on to his latest Mixtape Album "Take 2" following up off his last Mixtape Album in 2008 "1 Take" is sure to bring more focus and attention to the humble artist. Cyclone came with the concept of 1 Take from him being obsessed with cameras and director work. So this series brings u into Cyclone's Vision the way he sees the game, from start to end is a movie of the last year or process it took to make the Album. "1 Take" Featured Artists such as J The S, BR, Louie Bello, Noldy and much more. To now 2010 "Take 2" Featured artists such as Wally Sparks, Smyly, J-Gomz, Millyz, K'Loni Sky, and much more. 2010 Cyclone is on the path to rise up from his knowledge about the game, to having the right connections from family and friends in these major states makes him even more humble and gracious. More humbleness especially to his home State Cyclone dedicates his time and effort into filming interviews from one of Boston's best radio Stations 106.1 "Funky Fresh Radio" Every Friday and Saturday 10pm-3am.along side Radio host Rust aka "Mr. Funky Fresh" Check out Youtube.com/drethacyclone for all episodes. Rubbing shoulders with Rusti has been instrumental with Cyclone's sponging up knowledge from a certified OG of the game. And working with neighbor hood child friends 3rd Vision one of the best film crews in Boston that films cyclone videos. Cyclone has a slew of connections to get him to win. Cyclone is currently working on building up his Artist "Dezzy Bird" with a joint mixtape with his artist soon to drop in late October called "Life Behind Bars" which features artists such as Germ Ghee, Chilla, J.C.I.T.Y., Wally Sparks, Foxxwoodz, Slim Dealz to name a few and Hosted By Wally Sparks. Is sure to shake the streets during Winter. Keep your eyes on Cyclone cause he does it all to film, rap, produce, promote & leadership qualities, he is surely a force to be reckon with. His declaration of peace cause that's the only way Boston will blow Cyclone extends his hand to any and every artist that wants to work and step to the table.
