Honestly, you can say whatever you want about Lingo. I used to work with him a lot back in the day but we have fallen off over the past few years and gone our separate ways but no matter where he is from, which he doesn't hide from anyone, You can always count on the fact that he's working. Never has a day gone by where i wondered what Lingo was up to and ever doubted the fact that he was either Making a beat, doing graphic design, writing, recording himself, recording another artist, doing a show, or online promoting all the things he is doing. And there isn't a man in the world who, if they knew him, could ever doubt the fact that he puts in more work than almost anyone else in New England or anywhere else in the country. I see Lingo more as competition now than anything else and there is nothing i would love to see more than myself ahead of him in the charts, or in our careers in general... but no matter how hard i work, i always see his name popping up whether it be in random convo's with other artists in the local community or in underground hiphop sites like this one where im trying to get my name out there. Lingo makes it fun to be an artist in the same community because he makes it a challenge to keep your name ringing bells and staying fresh on the minds of the fans because he's always working as hard, if not harder, than anyone else including myself. He is always on top of the latest marketing sites and doing whatever the trendy promotional tactic is at the time. I'm the last person to give credit to someone that i have no vested interest in them doing well, so take it from me if you're a fan looking for an artist to keep tabs on... Stay Up with Lingo and what he's doing. He is always working on new material, dropping new Cd's, doing shows, or working on helping out other artists around him to help them with their careers. He isn't selfish in any sense of the word and if you are a fan of his music, your never stuck with his only CD wondering why he isn't releasing anything new and getting sick of what you already have, cuz he's dropping his next album before you're even done with whats in your CD deck now. So fuck the haters Lingo and you of all people know that. Keep doing you cuz. Some people hate on other people just because that's how they feel about themselves and they want to feel like they have company that deep down they know is actually doing something with their career cuz it somehow makes them feel like they are doing something as well when they damn sure know they aren't!!! Friendly competition is one thing but i just can't stand people that talk shit and have nothing to show for themselves. It there was more love and Unity (no pun intended) in the New England Hip Hop scene maybe more artists could become successful on a more nationally recognized level. This website is designed specifically with love and support in mind for local aspiring artists who can all get together on one website, network, and show off their skills. If you dont like what you hear, keep it moving, why waste your time hating if it doesn't even matter to you??? Jealousy is a bitch Eh??? Anyways, I think that was well said.
