Mooga who was born Michael A. Mckenzie jr. is a up and coming rapping artist born January 20,1990 in Brooklyn,New York, Raised in Staten Island for the first half of his young childhood life. Mooga Moved to Boston At the age of 9 years old, along with his two siblings and his mother. Mooga's father had abandoned the family before he became a teenager. His father leaving gave him the role to be a leader, a man, and made him who he is today. Throughout Mooga's Life music wasn't always his priority in life and never did he take his skills in rapping seriously until others seen the potential and his future in rapping. In Mooga's words he believes that anyone can rap by just taking a couple of words and putting them together but that doesn't make you a rapper if there's no passion and story behind those words. From street ties to the ball court all Mooga knew was his hustling mentality so he puts this energy into rapping. Mooga always knew how to rap, but became a rapper about one year ago. His music is not base on just one side, but has different varieties for all listeners. He rap from the heart and soul, to the people so anyone and everyone can, and will be able to find their own connections within his music. All of Mooga's music is based off his own experience so even if some can not relate to his music they will definitely get the thought and imagine what someone else's life can was like with his highly detailed and descriptive writing style and witty lines to keep the listeners on the edge of they seat listening Mooga's music tells a vivid story, which is why his first mixtape is entitled "My Train of Thought" Mooga's music wil give you an insight of his life for others too see and imagine his life, experience and understand his mind. If Mooga could define himself in one word it would be "GREATNESS" because his goal is to be remembered not only for his music but also for changing or having some effect on others lives. "To Dream for something you must believe and when you believe in something and yourself you will succeed" that's mooga motto.
