Retro is a hip hop artist from Boston, MA that strives to be classic and everything he does. Growing up in Boston was a challenge so Retro turned to music at an early age. It was until high school where he decided to become an artist and make music of his own. With help from friend B-Fam he honed his skills and formed the group lightz out with b-fam. During this time the group added to other up-coming artists Visa P (of Splash Boyz Ent.) and Laydee k. The group later broke up because of irreconcilable differences in opinion.
At that time in his career he decided to embark on a solo career. He began to work on his debut mixtape. After going through a lot of major setbacks, Back From Tha Brink is set to be released Fall 2010. Features from Lady Sin, Mata Music and any many other talented Boston artists. He also plans to release Win At All Cost hosted by Dj K.I.D of fully focused radio. And also Crunch Time the Dvd with all behind the scenes footage, music videos, and interviews
