Biography
Boston, MA
Young Rich who hails from Boston, Massachusetts has wanted to do music ever since he was 8 years of age. Influenced by such artists as Notorious Big, The Lox, Eminem, Jay-Z, and T.I. to name a few. In 2007 at 18-years-old he released his first mixtape titled "Welcome to Hawkville" and started establishing a buzz as Young Rich from Dirty Hawk Ent/Front Runnaz Ent. He has since kept a radio presence on Jam'n 94.5's Launch Pad and Touch 106.1 fm's Funky Fresh Radio garnering attention across New England with such songs as "Letter to the Game" and "Lay Down" leading to his advertisement in XXL Magazine's April 2010 freshmen issue. In the summer of 2010 he will be releasing "The Head of the State" mixtape, and at 21 years of age he is ready to take on whatever comes his way.

young rich is way talented n proves it every time he opens his mouth... he has a great head on his shoulders n can definitely pull his own weight. He also has a lot of support. I believe he's ready for what ever this rap game will throw at him, he just needs the chance to help take hip hop back from this bubble gum era. I know what his lyrics are from the heart n that's hard to come by...... good luck rich I hope all this welcomed notoriety is a step in the right direction...

"Letter to the game" is real, original, and powerful. It sends a message to those who have hijacked hip-hop, and leaves the listener enlightened, and thoughtful. Sick beat, stylish lyrics.
