Danny Ainge addressed the media Tuesday morning in Waltham regarding the 2009 NBA Draft. The Celtics currently own the 58th overall pick in the draft.Although Ainge admitted to having discussions regarding a possible move into the first round of the draft, he said at this point it does not seem imminent. He also stated that he is focused on getting the Celtics back to the NBA Finals in the 2009-10 season, and that motive trumps all other factors."We're a championship contender for sure, in the last two years, and we feel like we're going to be better this year. We'll have a better team on the court," he said.Post Ups Notebook

Introducing The U.N (Urban Nerdz)

BiographyHere Is A Song Off Of There First Project Entitled "B Side : The Intermission" It Is Called "The Progress" all feedback and criticism is welcomed . Thank YouProgress - The U.N..::BIOGRAPHY::. What is originality ? ..... Here is a better question for you , too ask yourself and search deep within to find an answer. Who embodies originality anymore ? For you to come up with an answer to that question you would have to look deep inside and think about the characteristics and definition of that word which include freshness , creativity , novelty , idea of method or performance as well as the ability to think or express oneself in an independent and individual manner . I believe all of that to be true except for the portion about oneself ... there once was a man who said all great things come in three's and even that analogy can relate and equade to music , because the great thing that has come in three's is Ace Boogie , Kay Special and Bueffard Mallary also know to you as "The U.N". A collective group of three young talented males from different enviornments that come together and comprise a future virtuoso in the game . The distinctive originality that The U.N portaits is what helps seperate them and stand astray from the normal and usual group in music . Being able to appeal and attack all markets is what helps them become international and iconic stars over one hit wonders and overnight celebrities . Being one step ahead and trendsetters instead of followers is what plays to there advantage and helps them in this modern new school era of hip hop . While artist are classified as back-packers , drug lords , gangster rappers and swag stars The U.N are different . Which is what takes of more than anything else , while artist are going "right" because thats whats selling , appealing and cool they are going "left" because thats who they are and who they desire too be . It seems hip - hop has turned into a game of high school , because everyone is struggling to be in with the popular crowd . Maybe thats why records arent selling and everybody is doing horrendous when it comes to selling records . Ace Boogie (born Aaron Campbell) was born in Silver Spring , Maryland . Growing up Boogie had a huge musical upbringing with a plethora of different sounds which on any given day could range from the Temptations , Bob Marley , Run - DMC or Sade . With this wide variety and great understanding for different sounds and different genre's of music it helped cultivate and mold Boogie into a wonderful story teller and amazing artist . The oddball of the group going against the grain , being different in his own but magical way helps appeal and allows you to open your eyes to his world. Kay Special (born Kenny Benjamin later to be change to Kenny Benjamin Dubuisson) was born in Boston , Massachusetts . Kspec had to deal with a ton of adversities and hardships growing up which at times tried to stand as road blocks that he overcame . Which helped him realize too take nothing for granted which is evident when you listen too the distinctive wordplay and passion and heartfelt lines he says . Bueffard Mallary (born Jovan Jose Reveron) was born in New Haven , Conneticut and bred with a very rich musical foundation having an ex-drummer and dj father as well as a mind blowing and gifted lyricist mother only helps explain half the story of why he is so gifted . Pure genius and passion is the other half of the story , gravitating towards Jay-Z , Pharcyde , A Tribe Called Quest and Talib Kweli show why his lyrical presence is brought forward and distributed through out his music . Originality is the true key on why this is the next group to take over and be destained for greatness , listening to songs like "Konnechiwah / Asain Girls , Fix It or The Progress shows why they are the future of what is to be heard and to be expected as well as to be renacted and copied by a cult following of the younger generation. While tons of people do the same thing over and over again. The U.N is working hard day in and day out to create new ways to distribute and promote there selves to the masses and be heard by fans . Working hard on there craft and putting in countless time and effort to make thereselves better and generate more fans they are truly a labels dream .With in the hip hop game , old trends dying out and everyone being the same thing in just a miniscule or in a slightly different form , The U.N are destain to be the next big thing and face of the music world . With the arrival of there first mixtape they are proven that they are more than an "Intermission" List of websites that "The U.N"(Urban Nerdz) have been featured and promoted on latelyhttp://www.sixoneseven.net/ http://www.theghampmovement.com/2009/02/hip-hops-missing-link/Greed.2ya.com 21-7magazine.com/getfamiliar5.html Also check The U.N out on ...Twitter http://twitter.com/TheUrbanNerdz Myspace myspace.com/urbannerdzmusic Facebook http://www.facebook.com/pages/THE-UN/67718910459 The U.N has been working very hard , and working to create a fan base and following. As you may have noticed they are very different from your typical hip hop artist , but really what they are doing is what I feel personally and what I think a lot more artist should do and that is BEING YOURSELF. You can also contact me with a private email or for more inquiries or information you can contact : AF1MusicMgmt@gmail.com

Lady Gaga & Beyonce' Change The Game

If you haven't already seen Lady Gaga's latest music video for "Telephone" featuring Beyonce', then I suggest you do so. Now I'm not a fan of her music, but I DO appreciate her creativity and willingness to step outside the box. This is probably the most innovative and groundbreaking music video since Michael Jackson's "Thriller" (loose comparison, Michael is the King). At almost ten minutes long it plays out like a movie as it pushes the boundaries the entire way through. The video is causing some serious controversy with its nudity, vulgarity, lesbianism, and murder; exactly the type of shit that really ruffles feathers and gets people talking. Does any of this ring a bell to anyone? Think about whom in their career before has toyed with all of the aforementioned controversy and built a career around doing it. Say hello to Lady Gaga because she's gonna be around for quite some time as the next generation's Madonna.

Currently at only 23-years-old she has had 6 U.S. top ten hits on Billboard's Top 100, 4 number one hits on the U.K. Singles Chart, won numerous Grammy, Billboard, American Music, MTV, etc awards, and is selling out arenas all over. You don't have to like her music to appreciate the originality she is bringing back to the music industry. "Telephone" will be talked about for years to come as it will be remembered as the music video that inspired creativity in music again. Watch.. this will change the game.

In "Telephone" you have everything from Beyonce' to prison fighting, caution tape, a "Pussy Wagon", lesbian kissing, murder, honey, crazy outfits, cigarette shades, Quentin Tarantino flick-type acting, oh... and Lady Gaga's bare crotch in a lesbian prison guard's face (the "dick or no dick" rumors that have bothered Lady Gaga can be silenced now). Don't understand what the hell I'm talking about? I don't blame you, because I'm not exactly sure I understand either, but watch the video and witness future music history here in the present.
