Beginning his musical journey at 13-years-old, Melz began taking it seriously 2 years later as a freshman in high school with his group Fast Life, which has opened shows for both Asher Roth and Kid Ink. The now 17-year-old rapper in late July released his 11-track debut solo mixtape entitled "Up And Coming" hosted by Boston's Wally Sparks. The project includes production by Ck3 (of Fast Life), Coffee Black, Jahlil, L Sanchez, Biggs and Kevin McCall while features come from Millyz, Dayne Donovan and CeeDee (of Fast Life).

In his NEHH debut we bring you music from "Up And Coming" with the songs "Double Dose" produced by Ck3 and "Str8 2 The Top" featuring fellow Cambridge, MA native Millyz and production by Coffee Black.
